June 17, 2021 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Join accessABILITY for Empower Hour on June 17th from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm!

This month,  accessABILITY is hosting a presentation and discussion about the work being done by Indiana Disability Justice.  This inclusive conversation, facilitated by Cierra Thomas-Williams from the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence, will introduce the work of IDJ and their efforts to engage with people with disabilities and highlight their work to the world as a means of violence prevention.  The goal of this Empower Hour session is to shed light on the ways in which primary prevention of all violence works at multiple levels–individual, relationships, organizations, and within communities–to create the conditions for everyone to thrive.

Empower Hour is a monthly virtual opportunity for individuals and organizations who are part of the diverse community of people with disabilities to connect over topics and activities that have the potential to impact all of us.  Please feel free to share this invite with any who may benefit.
