accessABILITY temporarily will be closing as precaution against COVID-19
Effective Friday, March 13th, 2020, accessABILITY will be closed. Out of an abundance of caution, accessABILITY has made the decision to suspend all consumer visits and public meetings from March 13-26th. The safety of the public, our consumers and staff are our highest priority. We will continue to monitor the situation, will re-evaluate on March 26th, and provide updates in advance of re-opening.
While accessABILITY has no staff or consumers with confirmed cases of COVID-19, people with disabilities are at a higher risk for adverse health complications if they contract this virus. The Marion County Public Health Department has advised special populations to try to put at least six feet of distance between themselves and other people to further reduce their risk of being exposed to the virus.
Staff will be available by phone or email during the closure to assist our community with any additional questions or concerns they may have.
