Vision Loss Care Circle
When we think about visual impairment, we often focus on the person experiencing the changes—but their family and friends are deeply affected, too. As vision loss impacts daily life, loved ones may step into caregiving roles, taking on responsibilities like driving, cooking, managing finances, and more. Without the right support, this can feel overwhelming.
While many resources exist for individuals with visual impairments, caregivers often find themselves navigating this journey alone. That’s why we created this group—a space to connect, share experiences, and learn practical skills to support your loved one while also taking care of yourself.
Each month, we’ll explore topics like assistive technology, daily living strategies, and coping with the emotional challenges that can come with vision loss. More importantly, we’ll build a community of understanding, encouragement, and shared knowledge so no one has to go through this alone.
We meet virtually on the second Tuesday of each month at 6 PM, offering a consistent opportunity to learn, connect, and find support in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
