Neurodiverse Peer Support Group
Nov 5 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Join us on November 5th from 5-6 pm for the Neurodiverse Peer Support Group!

Neurodiversity is the infinite variations and diversity of the human mind. These differences are normal, yet the neurotypical society we live in puts up barriers. Our peers include those with ADHD, Autism, Tourette’s, Dyslexia, Bipolar, and more.

The Neurodiverse Peer Support Group is a peer-led, peer-supported safe space for learning and growing together. While we enjoy our social time, each month we cover a specific topic where we share resources, insight, and personal stories to grow as Advocates.

This month’s topic: The Models of Disability. What is the Medical Model vs. the Social Model of Disability? How do the Models affect me and my understanding of disability?
