Susan was previously the Executive Director at Prevail, a crime-victim serving agency. With her expertise in domestic violence and sexual assault, Susan will be an asset to accessABILITY in developing a comprehensive domestic violence and sexual assault program for people with disabilities including prevention and intervention strategies.
“Our leadership team needed someone with a keen sense of social justice, primary prevention and a sense of humor,” said Tammy Themel, CEO of accessABILITY. “Susan’s commitment to diversity and inclusion along with her flair for creating team cohesion meant it had to be her!”
With this addition to the leadership team at accessABILITY, accessABILITY is poised for growth to best serve people with disabilities in their own personal journey to independence. We’re so excited to have Susan on our team!
